The Faculty of Science, Srinakharinwirot University, places great emphasis on safe and proper chemical management in laboratories. The Faculty has implemented chemical waste segregation under the ESPReL standard (Enhancement of Safety Practice of Research Laboratory). This initiative ensures that chemicals and hazardous waste is properly managed, minimizes risks to laboratory personnel, and prevents environmental damage that could arise from disposing chemicals into building sanitation systems.

This measure also strengthens the culture of laboratory safety, promotes systematic operations, and reassures students, staff, and stakeholders that scientific activities are carried out without compromising safety or environmental standards.
